Aarohi is the annual cultural festival of Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology, Nagpur.Held towards the end of February every year.
Each year, Aarohi boasts of a multitude of participants in its various contests. The festival is completely student-organized and reputed firms sponsor the event each year. The main event runs for 3 days, wherein, Cultural Night acts as the curtain raiser and the proceeds of the event go to a charitable institute. Events including a Personality Contest, Singing, Quiz, Debate, Band Contest etc. are also held.This festival receives more than 3000 viewers every year.
As an active member of management committee, worked on a number of aspects in AAROHI. Seeked sponsors, participated in street rallies and publicized various events of AAROHI.Interacted with the regional public and persuaded them to participate in charity events. Also worked as a part of LOGISTICS team to cater to the needs of various events. Interactions with different groups of people boosted my confidence and was able to learn marketing strategies.
