AXIS is a national-level technical festival held at the Visvesvaraya National Institute of Technology in Nagpur, India. One of the largest technical festivals in India, the festival is organized annually at the end of September.A number of events, exhibitions and workshops are organised for students from different denominations and age groups.It is an entirely student-organized fest organised by VNITians.
As a member of organizing committee, focussed on two major events,namely, JUNIOR SCIENTIST & WALLSTREET. Junior Scientist is the biggest event across the nation that brings together school students under one roof and stages the largest intellectual and creative battle-ground.On the other hand, Wallstreet,as the name rightly suggests, replicates the real world’s grueling stock market and provides an opportunity to the financially inclined to test their wits, monetary skills, and most of all, intuition.
Building events, ensuring proper and quality logistics were major area of concern. Over a span of three years enhanced my organising skills by improved event planning and management.
In addition to this, learnt marketing strategies by seeking sponsors and ensured maximum participation in events through efficient ways of publicity.
